Before I joined Herbalife, I played as a professional footballer for Richmond and the Western Bulldogs for 10 years. I also played a season of professional baseball in the U.S. with the Florida Marlins.
At 40 years of age, still playing at the elite level of baseball, I found myself training and not getting fitter. I felt like I couldn’t keep my energy levels up and I knew I had to do something about my health.
Around the same time, my best friend and Godfather to my second child, Paul Mckessy called me to catch up as we had not seen each other for about three months. I’d only ever known Paul as an overweight man.
So when I saw that he had lost 25kgs, he really had my attention! I also met his mentor, George Knight, on the same day and he looked fantastic! Paul told me about these fantastic products he’d been taking and it just made sense so, I got started.
Immediately my energy went through the roof. My skin improved, I lost 5kgs from my stomach and buttocks that I didn’t think I had and I was sleeping better.
From an athletic perspective, my recovery from exercise got better, my leg speed and cardio - vascular endurance increased, but the best part is the aches and pains I had in my joints from a 10 year football career have improved greatly! I have a comfort in my body that I’ve not known since I was in my 20’s.
Because of my great results, I have now been running my own Herbalife business since May 2011 and experiencing a level of success I’ve never known in business, just through helping people with their health and sports performance.
